 M249 is one of the top 10 guns of PUBG MOBILE, one of the most powerful guns in the game. Readout to know why.

 M249 is the better Light Machine Gun (LMG) than DP28.

M249 is only obtained through Air Drops making it rarer gun in the game.

M249 holds 100 bullets in one magazine, which is way too higher than the capacity of any other gun in the game but any other rifle cannot be compared with M249 in the matter of magazine size as M249 is an LMG and it is the nature of this gun. This makes the gun great for covering fire.

 But it has some weaknesses too. Heavy recoil is one of the biggest problems with this gun, even though recoil is reduced while using stands. 
Stands of M249 can only be used while laying on the ground but with the help of stands, you can have a better view of your surroundings as compared to guns without stands.

Another weakness of M249 is its very long reloading time and if you are in front of your enemies with an empty magazine of M249 then, of course, it would be better to change the gun then reloading it.


Ammunition
5.56 mm
M249 uses 5.56 mm of bullets, which are easily available in the game.
It has the highest bullets storing capacity, so it doesn't require an extended magazine also no extended magazine can fit in M249 in the game.

 Since it is a machine gun, it has a fully automatic firing mode. 

Attachments

The only attachment with M249 can be equipped is scopes:

  • Scope

M249 can be equipped with every scope present in the game excluding 8x CQBSS which is used only with Marksman Rifles and Sniper Rifles.

 It is better to use 2X Scope with M249 because you won't be able to control its high recoil with a scope having power more 3X.
