Krafton, the developer of BGMI has banned thousands of accounts so far and won't hesitate to ban thousands more to keep the game free from hackers. The security is getting better and better, according to the stats the developer team of BGMI has banned around 70,000 players within the first week of 2022 and in the next week they banned 50,000 players, Krafton is focused towards fair gameplay experience in BGMI which is good for players and fame of the game.

Players can get banned if they play on devices not authorized by Krafton, this could include using an unauthorized mouse or any other hardware equipment. Playing the game on emulator is not allowed by Krafton. The result of using such devices or emulators could be severe and even lead to permanent ban.
Using, developing, distributing modified apps
Many hackers develop a modded (modified) version of original version of original BGMI game and implement hacks on them which is completely against the guidelines and can lead to permanent device ban.
Discrimination
If someone offends others in the game using offensive language on the basis of their gender, race or nationality they can get banned for the offense.
Inappropriate personal details
If someone uses inapproriate nickname their name will be changed without the consent of the player and can get a small ban, the nickname in the game should not be sexual or infringe any trademark.
